Skincare Routine

I have an extremely simple skincare routine as I don't like putting too much product onto my face. At the moment I am using Garnier's Fresh Radiance Booting Scrub and I feel this really wakes my skin up in the morning (keeping true to it's name), clearing up any dirt that might have been left the night before.

My night time skincare routine consists of only three things: my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and Fresh Radiance Boosting Scrub and Neutrogena's Blackhead Eliminating Cleansing Lotion.

Everyone raves about the micellar solution so I knew I had to give it a try and this is definitely the best thing I have ever used to take off my make up. It removes literally everything I have on my face, including eye make up. I am so impressed by this product - I have been using this bottle for nearly three weeks and I still have an enormous amount left!

I then go in with my face scrub just to get off any excess makeup, and finish with my cleanser just to get the final bits of makeup off. I love this product as I really struggle with the amount of blackheads I have - especially in my t-zone area, and I would definitely agree that the amount of blackheads I have has diminished quite a bit since using this product.

I don't finish off with any moisturiser or creams because I feel like they really clog up my skin and I wouldn't want to pile on more products after cleaning and cleansing my face. I have yet to find a moisturiser that doesn't make my skin feel oily and greasy, as that isn't something I would like to leave on my skin overnight.

How I Style Skorts W/Topshop

How I Style Skorts W/Topshop

Looking around Polyvore today, which is my favourite place to create boards, I just found myself looking through everything Topshop. I have such a huge wishlist when it comes to Topshop, but I picked out a few of my favourite skorts (shorts that look like a skirt), and styled them.

Skorts are one of my favourite trends right now and I am seeing them everywhere. I love patterned and printed ones as they just add so much to an otherwise plain outfit. I've styled a casual outfit, a bit of a dressed up casual outfit, and one for more of a night out.

Even though it's not particularly summery outside, I thought these would be good inspiration for some summer outfits, and hopefully the sun will come out soon so I won't be waiting too long!

Blue Knit Hearts

Blue for the most disappointing bank holiday summer weather.
Jumper: Warehouse
Shorts: Miss Selfridge
Coat: Miss Selfridge
Shoes: H&M
Rings: Dorothy Perkins and Pandora

Thought I'd snap a few pictures of my outfit whilst there was a bit of sunshine! I have to say England's weather is extremely bipolar at the minute, I just wish Summer was here! Really obsessed with blue at the minute, every outfit I put together has something blue in it. Loving these shorts too, they do amazingly with tights and bare legs, so they are good in any season.

What I Got For My 18th Birthday

My 18th Birthday just passed so yay I'm now legal! Aside from bottles of Champagne and an amazing Italian dinner, I was treated to some really nice things and I wanted to share what I got as I am pleased with everything I received and I am so grateful for everything.

My first present I got a month early as it was to go to Venice with my mum! Venice was number one on my wishlist and I was so excited to finally be going. I had such a nice time there - we stayed on the Lido but came into the main Island most of the time. All I want to do is go back and explore the other Islands and eat at my favourite restaurant again!

From my cousin I was given this gorgeous Chanel compact mirror - the first of many Chanel products I will collecting! I thought it was such a nice present to get, a compact mirror is something that I will need for a very long time and I will get so much use out of it.

My boyfriend gave me this amazing Pandora ring which I really wasn't expecting at all! I love the floral design on it, it just screams me. It's definitely going to be a staple ring for me, I will be wearing it everyday!

My uncle took me to Kensington for a day out, and we had a lot of fun walking in the parks and having lunch in the highstreet before we went into Topshop to find these beautiful nude t-bar sandals. I've always wanted the t-bar sandals from Topshop and these just jumped out at me. I love how they are closed toe so they are very practical and versatile.

Overall I had an amazing birthday and I am so thankful for the amazing things and experiences that i was given.

Love,

xx
