Khaki Night

When you think about khaki, you most probably think of casual outfits, maybe some outdated cargo trousers, or military style jumpsuits for example? But I am a huge believer in buying pieces you can dress up and down - an interchangeable wardrobe is full in force this year (well, for me anyway).

This top is probably my most favourite purchase of 2015 hands down - I love the new khaki trend and even more I love how you can wear it so many different ways. This top comes in so many different colours (navy is next on my list), and it's so easy to wear and style. This khaki coloured v neck (here) is so low cut you have to either brave the no bra or find an extremely small bra (which is the route I took) but I think it's quite a unique shape and like I said, its so easy to style.

I wore this the very first time for a night out and I just fell in love with it so I thought I'd share it with you, and it might give you a little inspiration on how to wear this trend without going full out!

Thank you for reading!

HOLY GRAIL PRODUCTS: TOO FACED CHOCOLATE BAR PALETTE

It's only been recently that I got into eye shadow on a daily basis, but I'm still quite afraid to be really bold and adventurous with my looks, so I like to just stick to neutral colours. I always thought that the original Urban Decay Naked palette would be the best purchase for me, as I love neutral eye looks and everyone always goes on about it, but I just couldn't get on with the shimmery shades, I just couldn't make them work together and the fallout was insane.

The Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette retails for £39 on the Debenhams website and is made with 100% natural cocoa powder, giving it it's iconic chocolate scent. The shades are amazingly pigmented and even though they are all neutral shades, the palette is very versatile. It's an amazing day to night palette. Besides the Original Naked Basics, this is the best palette I have ever used. There's two very large highlight shades, one matte and the other shimmery and there are a lot more mattes than the Naked palette which is what sold me.

My favourite shades are Hazelnut, Marzipan, Salted Caramel, Creme Brulee and Milk Chocolate (pictured above). I also really love Candied Violet, I just forgot to swatch that one.

One thing that I do hate about this is that the shadow names aren't written on the actual palette, its on a separate piece of plastic which you would throw away unless you want the faff of having there every time you want to use it.

I would recommended this palette to anyone, it has become my holy grail and it's my go to on a daily basis. In my opinion, anyone who is a lover of makeup, neutral or not should own this palette, it's a great addition to anyone's makeup kit.
